Penny started her career at Cranks, the
pioneering health food company and then went on to manage a busy
Holland and Barrett health food store in South London.
Seeing at first had the powerful effects on
customers, of the right foods and vitamins inspired a lifelong interest
in nutrition. Penny went on to study nutritional medicine and courses
in aromatherapy, massage, reiki, metamorphic technique, flower essences
and kinesiology followed. Her knowledge and experience of these
disciplines form a holistic background to her current nutrition
practice.
After gaining her diploma in nutritional
medicine, she went on to take further postgraduate studies and set up a
nutritional therapy practice in south west London. Whilst training in
nutrition, she worked as a consultant for a large vitamin company.
Her special interests as a nutritionist are
infertility, digestive health and the impact of nutrition on emotional
and mental wellbeing.
